Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress known for playing the role of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama series CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as Doctor. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. She also received high praise for her first television performance on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Some of her notable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film with Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with the Immortals) is believed to be in production.
